Hytrel 7246 is a plasticizer-free thermoplastic polyester elastomer. It is stable to light and contains non-discoloring stabilizer. It is a high modulus grade with nominal hardness of 72D. It possesses good melt stability, excellent toughness, resilience, high resistance to creep, impact and flex fatigue, flexibility at low temperature and good retention of properties at elevated temperature.It exhibits excellent oil, fuel, and solvent resistance.It possesses low fuel permeability and suitable for processing by injection molding, thermoforming, casting, film & sheet extrusion, extrusion and other extrusion.Hytrel 7246 is mostly used in tubing, gears and sprockets, oil field parts, wire and cable jackets.
